morning was wondering if anyone has any advice. ive had oa in my ankles which was diagnosed 2 years ago. over the last few weeks the side of my foot runs down the side of my big toe on the joint under my big toe has been really sore to the touch and feels really warm. i thought i had banged it on something but its come back since i did quite a bit of walking yesturday. it drove me mad last night. anyone got any idea what it might be?

    Hi Jennifer

A wild guess is that it could be that when doing quite a bit of walking yesterday you put more pressure on that part of your foot than normal, because of the oa in your ankles. Hope you were wearing "sensible" shoes.:lol::lol:

The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

    hi elnafinn
yep was wearing my trainers. got a wedding in july and ive struggle to get a pair of shoes that match my dress and are comfy. i say a consultant at the hospital didnt tell me much just said its oa and to get on with it. it usually only plays up if im walking up steep hills or on stones not too good on the old balance. was very annoyed last night my foot was hurting and im waiting to get my wisdom tooth removed at the hospital. been waiting since march only 3 weeks to go that and the old man next door was shouting in the middle of the night so had to go round and check on him. thought it was time to get up at 1 am and got stuck on the stairs my other neightbour put him to bed but i couldnt get back to sleep after that. i will see how i get on maybe try and book a doctors appointment
