I dont think the surgeon would be interested, so going to make an appointment with my gp and ask to be reffered back to the rheumatolgist after all she said see you next year and that was feburary 2008.

    Hi Mike

Sorry you have even more pain. Do you think heat or ice might help? If you can bare it try rubbing some gel eg ibuleve, voltorol sort of thing.

How are Hazel and Mike jnr? Hope Hazel is feeling better now.

    Love

    Hi ,
I tried yesterday , putting the wheat bag on it , sadly it did nothing, so today I tried voltorol cream on it but it still is sore.

Hazel is getting it badly , the fibroglaia is taking more control of her her arms , back and her hips are getting it bad.

Mike JR is slowly coming off his meds for his Epilepsy , so far alls fine :D:D:D:D:D wont be long before he is stopping school,

thank you very much for asking about hazel and mike JR :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

    Hi Mike

I think I can sympathise with you. my arm, wrist 7 fingers are really trying to make me cry at the moment . can't even type with my left hand. consultnt thinks I have Carpel tunnel syndrome. he hasd asked me to keep him posted and he will get some elecyto? tests done don't know what he means. he put an injection into my wrist 12 days ago, but pain soon came back. find cold compress helps a bit, especially at night when you want to get to sleep and it is throbbing. seeing my gp on tuesday to go over all my medication with him so hope he will get in tocvh with consultant & tell him how swollen it is

Do hope you get some relief soon.

Do you need to see your GP first as you are already in the care of your rheumatologist?

Would you be able to contact the hospital direct and make an appointment. Try phoning your local Rheumatology Department and telling them the tale. In case of problems I have been told to phone mine directly and speak to the Team Sister.

    hi ,

My rheumatologist? was Dr maiden , but I have been told that she no longer works as a rheumatologist?, thats why I am asking the gp to reffer me again , its a pity as she was very easy to talk too.
