it could be a few things better to get the doctor to send you for x-ray that would rule out oa it could be something as simple as a trapped nerve
    good luck lindas

    Hi juejue

Sorry to hear of these new pains that you are experiencing. As you have oa of the spine it is probably a nerve(s) that is being aggravated, hence the pains at the top of your leg down to the knee. Is it a sort of pins and needles or sort of burning pain?
Best, seek advice. Sorry to say that because I am sure you are sick of gps and the like.

I hope your day goes ok,

    Luv
    Elna

Hello, As Elena said, it could well be a nerve in your back causing this pain. The best thing to do is go and see your GP. Love Sue

    Hi

I had a THR 2 weeks ago. I rarely got any pain in my hip it was all in my knee, it used to go from my groin area down my leg to my knee. Sometimes it was unbearable, my dr and consultant called it referred pain, something to do with the nerves from the hip being connected to the knee, I have OA.
