Does anyone know why you are only allowed three cortisone injections?

Hi Godzilla,
Welcome to the site, I hope you find it useful.
Is it really 3? I have a lot more than that, a huge amount more but they do tell me I can't have my neck done again for a while. I think its to do with the steroid and bone density issues? I must remember to ask when I go for the review on the last lot in august and also how many you actually should have....... Take care, Cris0 -
Hi, When I had my wrists done they did it twice, and said they could do 3 a year, but as they didn't last long, but worked well when first done, they gave me surgery on my carpel tunnel. Just getting over the first one and its great.
Apparently too many injections weaken the tendon?? Love Sue
