    Just an update

I have spent all day in hospital. Had one set of x-rays and they thought I had broken my hip
So i wasnt allowed to walk, had to be ferried about on a trolley.

Went back to the rheumy and they sent me for more x-rays!!
Thankfully these came back as no brake!!
They think my hip has always been odd and mis shaped and the RA hasnt helped. He has refered me to the ortho's and could mean an operation!!

    Such fun on my brithday!!
    Love

Wow Gemma, that must have been a worry. I hope you get to see the ortho quickly. Have they told you what to do about exercise?

    Hope it isnt too painful.

i had problems with my hip after i dislocated it years ago, i had an extra bit of bone growing that was pushing my hip out of joint, but since having my hip resurfaced it's been fine, sorry not much help!
i hope you get it sorted though as i know how painful hips can be.

    thanks

hip resurfacing seems a nicer option than total hip replacement!! :?
