Hi Amethyst - don't know if the mtx is to blame but I will ask my rheumi nurse on thurs as I am the same - soaking back, sweaty face and hair and hot raging flushes - I was just putting it down to starting 'the change' but I was just assuming it was that without any other evidence or symptoms - and it may be the mtx - I hope so because getting diagnosed with RA is enough to cope with just now and 'the change' will bring its own set of problems - oh joy  Hope it settles down soon and you feel cooler - bye for now - Eileen x

I am the same when it comes to sweating with the water just running off my face until I look like a beetroot. I dread the day of my son's wedding being too hot, because I don't think I will cope otherwise.

You can have a raised temperature any way with arthritis and I have 3 forms of it in any case.

Funnily enough though, since last night when it got cooler, I feel really cold the whole time. I thinkI will check up on the MTX also.
