Hand, knuckle surgery

Anyone had it? my right hand and fingersare moving to the right and I am considering having them straightened as they hurt, have anyone else had it done and was it worth it?

Hi luckybug no Ive never had that done my hands except for the pain have been OK ive had my toes straightened though and spaced have you tried straightners or spacers which are meant to keep things straight for a while and i wear hand splints at night which are meant to keep the fingers straight and relaxed i got mine from OT0

Hi,not had it done myself but a couple of months ago on here an artist called chalky was posting.He seemed to have success with the op.
No doubt others will be along shortly to help.

I have just looked up chalky and seen what he was saying about the op, his does seem to have worked. I had my toes straightened when I was 14 as they were really deformed and I couldn't wear normal shoes, my right hand is causing me a lot of probs now, and I am right handed, the pain is awful, I don't know whether the right elbow replacement is causing my hand to turn outwards, and my fingers are hardly moving, so I am considering having surgery. Was hoping the humira might have helped, but recently I am in agony, my shoulders are killing me, rheumatologist said they need replacing as well.... if I can get rid of the pain with some drugs, I will struggle I think, all too much and I hate ops.0
