Well I’m in the middle of a terrible flare up and it’s been 5 day’s and counting. So this morning I decided to beat it at it’s own game and finish it all by blowing me brains out with my Beretta shotgun, I was going to just walk/limp up the hill at the back of our house and end this pain, but then the realisation hit me the gun was locked up stairs in it's cabinet and my knees are so bad I wouldn’t be able to get the dam thing anyway in this state, I didn’t know if I should cry or laugh, so instead of moping went to me knew GP and he’s given me some even stronger pain killer, that’s more than the old one ever did in just one visit.

    Hi Mellman01,

Sounds like with your luck you'd have run out of bullets too  and probably even if you had the bullets I would think your fingers are too stiff to pull the trigger anyway  It's all called The Great Law of ****!!

............hope your new painkillers start to work very soon.

    Luv Legs. :D

Getting some stronger meds from your new, sympathetic gp seems a much better solution than blowing your brains out so am pleased you could not make the stairs to get the gun but hope when the meds start working the stairs will become a breeze but you will no longer think about the gun locked in the cupboard. :D

Hi all glad I made a few of you laugh, I’ve just got the new med and it’s called OXYCODONE HCL+NALOXONE HCL, the war office picked it up for me had to double sign for it very new drug apparently, anyway I’m feeling a bit better as I’ve got the weight off me feet and I have been cheering myself up laughing and our Parsons terrier wander round with a funnel on his head as he’s just had his pockets picked by the vet so now his bark is a couple of octaves higher poor young chap.
