Inflamation in scar

Yesterday I had a lot of pain in the bottom of my scar and some swelling, that ment I didn't type much, as it was too painful and still is. I went to see the duty GP, which you don't need an appointment for. He said its not an infection but doing too much too soon, I have to rest more! I could do without this at the moment, as we are going on holiday next Wednesday and their is a pile of ironing and the one thing my lovely husband won't do is ironing Still we'll manage. I'm glad its not an infection though.
