how do you know if you have it(swine flu) considering you are advised not to go to GPs or casulty. 3 weeks ago I had what i would call flu and a temperature that felt very high, never felt so hot in all my life.

Hi oneday phoned my hospital re. injection for arthur and it has a message about swine flu and what to do or what not to do it said dont go to A and E or visit hosp if you think you have it but contact your GP or NHS hotline but it appears symptoms might be similar to flu :?: :?:

Hi, my son is fine now. His temp went up to 38.7, which is high but his has gone up to 39.9 before now, so not as high as I would have expected. To be honest I have seen him an awful lot poorlier with other viruses and have a lot longer recovery time with them.

when I went to my GP surgery last wednesday for my MTX injection, the nurse said that in our area at least, it looked like CHildren would be the first priority, then the chronically sick (us I suppose!) and that the elderly may be the last on the list, although it was changing from hour to hour and day to day.

not really any help ... but just thought I'd add my experiences into the mix!

I was wondering whether this would come up, i've been getting a litte worried about this lately, as surely if we get swine flu we have to come off enbrel injections and i'm not sure able methotraxate?

I don't know how i'd deal with arthur without medication.

    Scares me to think about..
