I've been prescribed Tamiflu as I supposedly have suspected swine flu - personally I think it's just a cold but I guess you can't be too careful.
Has anyone on MTX taken it?

Hi, my son was prescribed it. He isn't on mtx but has chronic asthma and is on a heap of meds. It made him vomit and the gp said everyone was saying the same thing. The gp also said that it only shortens the virus by 13hours anyway, so it didn,t really make much difference. Hope this helps and that you get better soon.

Hi Wobbly,
Your experience sounds a lot like mine - I felt very tired too, not sure if that was flu or a side effect of the Tamiflu though.....
First day back at work today after a weeks imposed quarantine at home - VERY difficult getting up at half five!!
Hope you feel better soon too.

hi ive taken it while on methx, again i think i only really had a cold but precautions! i didnt really experience any problems but a specialist did tell me afterwards that you should really stop taking the methx when taking any anti viral or anti biotics as it will just counteract the effects.... who knows who you are supposed to listen to hey!
