Hello,
I'm going away to the Lake District tomorrow, (fingers crossed), but I'm sure I'll be OK now, as its not many hours to go! :) I worried a bit last week, as the scar on my hand became inflamed and I thought it might be infected, but a visit to the GP, some cream, rest, and anti-inflamatories, for a few days as I'm not supposed to take them. Seens to have calmed that down a lot. :D. Its stopped hurting and isn't as red and swollen any more.

I'm really looking forward to getting away, although the its a long journey and I'll get a bit stiff we can stop and have a few stretches. I love the scenery and the peace. It'll be good to stay in a hotel as well, no cooking worries! Lots of work getting ready though and I feel tired now. o/h has helped a lot.

Anyway, I'll let you know when we get back, how many mountains I've climbed!!! :D Well, I can always dream.... Love Sue

Have a lovely time in the Lake District!! Have a safe journey and I hope the weather holds out for you. My brother lives nearby and visits for walking every couple of weeks and absolutely loves the area. Hope your symptoms don't play you up too much and will look forward to hearing all about your holiday when you get back!

That sounds like just what you need. Have a fantastic time, and make the most of someone else doing the cooking and washing up.

Sue, I really hope that you have a lovely holiday. The lake district is beautiful. We went and stayed by coniston when my eldest was a toddler and we had a lovely time.

I hope the break does you good. Enjoy!

Thank you all for the kind messages. I am really looking forward to the break and it'll be nice to do something different. I don't think I'll be doing much mountain climbing! Tell you about it when I get back. Take care. Love Sue
