Arghhhhh - woke up this morning feeling really sore and exhausted . Had an appointment with the nurse at doctors surgery for bloods (mtx user) at 2.00pm so thought I had plenty of time to get myself organised with pain relief and motivated enough to get myself down there. To cut a long story short I took some tramadol about 11am and must have shut my eyes for a minute - well the minute lasted 5 hours  . Woke up by 14 yr old daughter coming in just before 4pm. Had to make an apologetic phone call to doctors and face the wrath of the receptionist before having another appoint made for next week. I feel quite teary and still SO tired. sorry - just feeling a bit down and annoyed with myself and sorry for myself too if that makes any sense. :?

Oh my goodness, you must have really needed that sleep. Sometimes our bodies just take over. I hope the receptionist was understanding. I hope you feel better soon. I think when we are in pain it is natural to be frustrated and tearful. Others can't really understand what we are going through as there is nothing to 'see'.
We do understand here and are always ready to listen. Can you have a hot bath and relax tonight maybe or read a good book? I find a bit of 'me' time really helps.
Take care
