hello gang , ? i have a question ; back in febuary i had a big flare and the pain was unbareable, got some meds then somemore mtx tramadol ecctodolac. i find that the pain and swelling is always there! is this normal? or will it get worse/ better. my hands are swelling almost daily now they look like they have been burned , i get white blotches and lumps on my hands. has any one the same complaint. this is really getting me down. i used to be able to work ,have fun and such now i just look at something and i sweat buckets. oh and i numbness in my hands and legs. any advice would be great

Hi John,
Have you been to see a nerve specialist yet as your consultant was going to send you to see one in May? If you have not seen anyone since that appointment I think you ought to if your hands are swelling almost daily etc. The numbness in hands and legs should be dealt with too. The fact that this is all getting you down, and very understandaby, is another reason to start rattling your cage and get the medics to listen to you.

You must feel really down with all that to contend with
The numbness sounds a real worry as well as your hands.
