knotgrass is Supposed to be good for arthur contains sillica which helps prove elasticity most prob not work for me what does??back on morphia this knotgrass grows as a weed apparently in hot places overuns gardens ????

    Saw on the news where they are importing Japanese bugs to eat the weed cos we have nothing to kill it.
    There is loads up the road from me next to the railway lines.
    BR chop it down every winter and it comes back with a vengeance.
    Do you chew it,boil it,cook it or what to get the magic ingredient.

    I have never heard it is good for arthur, I learn something new every day! :D

    Saw on the news what a pain it is to gardeners though.

    Hi Chrisov,

    I didn't know it was good for arthritis but I would imagine it would have to be boiled and the water poss drunk as well as maybe a bit like cabbage? I do know it grows well down this way and I really wouldn't want it here at all....... I don't think I should eat it either, not very adventurous eh? x
