I started Enbrel a week ago and am about to go and do my second injection. So far I haven't had any side effects and I woke up the next morning feeling 10 years younger!! I got out of bed on my own for the first time in ages. Even the injecting is a doddle. The needle is so small that I didn't even feel it.
Good luck with yours. Let us know how you get on.0 -
good for you, i hope it works out. I have my second assesment in a couple of weeks and cant wait, pretty obvious that i will be accepted for it so i know how u feel will be such a relief!

Hi Bubbsie I have been on humira about 6 months now and have absolutely no side affects at all. However, it does sting like hell! but it kicks in straight away and with no side affects I say that is a small price to pay. Good luck!0

Hi, good luck with your Humira.
yes the injection stings and i get a sight reaction, but the advantages out weigh the disadvantages! I now do not have to come home every day after work for a sleep! and dont get so tired in general and dont ache like i use too! My hands look normal not all puffy!

Good Afternoon to you all
Got up this morning and feel lovely it has certainly done a little something I am not as stiff as I was yesturday and my wrists have gone down a little. I am very positive my knee still hurts lots but theres alot of swelling to go down.
No side effects at all even injection site is not visable I can't even see where I did it, Only thing is I did have a little headache but that could have been stress as I had got myself worked up. The injection pen is so easy to do you just push it onto your skin and hold it firm then hit the the top and it does it all for you 10 seconds and its over
Will keep you posted
A very happy Bubbsie0 -
Good news Bubbsie, it's great when we turn a corner isn't it.
May it continue to make you feel better.

I have been taking Humira since October and it had an immediate effect on my top half.No pain in shoulder, then wrists and feel so much more alive.Had to miss a few injections when had a bad cold but even then coped better than pre injections.
I wasnt allowed to have my hip done until the R.A was under control and now that has been done I am like a kid in a sweet shop!
After ten years of awful pain I think I deserve it.
Take care and enjoy life to the best of your ability(cos its never gonna be perfect is it?)
