Hi Julie
I am very sorry to hear that - what exactly do you mean, that you cannot lift your arms. Is this because they are too painful and sore/swollen or because they are numb?
How did your birthday go? It was on Friday, wasn't it?

  Sorry Julie regarding your birthday. Have you been offered physio at all?
Perhaps you should go and see your gp because you seem low at the moment, not at all surprising, and have a chat about everything. Stress is not good, it aggravates the situation and that is something you do not need at the moment.
Hope you feel better soon,
Luv

Hi Julie
I have got a sore shoulder just now, only on the right side not both.
The pain started in the upper part of my arm then down to the elbow then right down to my fingers.
Saw the Rhuemy and she said it was inflamation on the shoulder, she gave me a steroid injection in the front of my shoulder but this did not work so I had to go back and get another one in the side of my shoulder ( boy was that uncomfortable), anyway it has helped a lot, still have some pain but not as bad as before.
You should speak to your doctor about this and not just suffer the pain.

i would go back to my gp but they will not listen o me
i am having my first appointment on friday with the rhumy0 -
Good luck with your appointment friday, fancy it comming through for you birthday.
Every morning when I wake my arms feel like lead weights and it takes all my time to work the effort up to lift them. This eases through the morning but seems to come back early evening. I can feel them now starting to feel heavy.
(((hugs)))
