Hi everybody
My GP managed to speak to the Consultants Secretary who arranged for the nurse to contact me. I explained that my condition continued to worsen especially my hands so that any use caused pain that even morphine wasn't stopping and also that according to ESA I was capable of work. She spoke to consultant. result appointment for 1st September. Have started appeals process, will try and get letter from GP. making appointment with CAB for their assistance too.
Did anyone hear You and Yours today, it was about ESA and how it was failing genuine claimants due to rigid questions and how it did not allow for conditions where everyday is different and that it was under review. Some wheelchair users who cannot get out of their chairs have had able to walk across room put on their notes! explains a lot, we must be seen to be employable on paper, never mind the facts.
It's a lovely day, the sun is shining and off to hosp to get my bloods done. Hope everyone is having a good day. Fay

    Hi Fay

Good for you. Please you asked for help and received it. You sound in buoyant mood today and it is great to hear. Excellent news too that you are feeling strong enough to start the appeals process. Keep in this frame of mind and fighting spririt and you will win in the end.

Please call in any time but especially if you get a little despondent and we will all do our best to boost you up.

    Luv
    Elna x
The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.
