Don't know what to call this one

I've sat here for so long looking at peoples claims and I can't believe what we have to go through to get what we all are entitled to. We have to beg for our entitlements this can't be right. I have got so angry in the last week looking at all our fellow members claims. People who have worked most of their lives and are now having to beg for a little extra to get them through the month. Do these agencies think we put this pain on, do they think we enjoy not having any life.
It took me a very long time to put in for the disablement allowance, I would have to admit I was disabled, not something I found easy to do.
For goodness sake if anyone from any of these agencies is reading this please give a thought to us all who have been too proud and have tried to get through these black times.
This is from the heart.

Hi Rita
Well said, you could tell that you put a lot of thought into what you wrote and I agree with all you said. If those who make the decisions had to walk around for a week with pebbles in their shoes, arms/wrists in splints knee supports etc maybe they would learn a bit about what we have to deal with. A week may not be long enough for some of them though.

Hi Rita
It never seems to be made easy for the people who deserve the benefits, and yet some undeserving people seem to get things so easily.
How are you progressing after your hip op ? I hope you are pain-free and more mobile now.
All the best

Hi Joan
I'm getting there slowly but surely. I've started to re decorate the living room, only doing what my body allows me to do though.
It's been 9 weeks now and I wouldn't hesitate to have the next one done.
The kittens are little monsters, very funny to watch, both are very mischievous. Thank goodness we opted for laminate flooring.

Good morning Rita
Well said! I never once thought I would be so disabled by arthritis. I thought I would have some pain, take some tablets and then I would be better and carry on as before. Arthritis has changed by life and opened my eyes.

I agree it is terrible that we have to jump through hoops to get the slightest bit of help. Yet there are prople out there who know how to work the system and don't work yet don't want.
last year when I was still working I applied for a blue badge just to help on a day to day basis. I had to jump throuh hoops to get it and they couldn't understand that I just wanted the badge not DLA or benefits and continue working. I got it eventually. the upsetting part was when you see in black and white you are disabed.
Now I am unable to work (hope to return next year) but because I am self employed, married, my husband works and we have a small amount of savings I get no assistance at all. I am 38 have worked since I left school (over 20 years) before that had all types of part time, Saturday jobs and never claimed a penny in my life. And just because I am not working at the moment it doesn't stop Mr Taxman sending in his bills which I still have to pay.
What a system!!

The workers that administer the allowance schemes are working under the directions of senior staff of countless government ministers, it is they that set the pace, the ideology and way the schemes operate.
This is where it becomes a giant lie, the government that introduces these schemes, uses your money to finance it, it's ministers and our civil servants run them for us, so what goes wrong?
It sets, at times, near impossible questions, standards, its own ethics are very questionable and as near as dammit illegal.
So, the big question is: - Does the government introduce these schemes for us or to give itself the kudos of having introduced it into a civilized society for its members, or to give us money so the interested portions of society keep voting for them?
Sorry thats three questions! Either way the people who are supposed to get assistance, don't. Must post this before I write a thesis.
8) Its a grin, honest!
p.s. Ministers and officials will never get to read what's on here, if anyone has anything to say, say it with your ballot paper!0
