Flippin' feet!

Hi everybody, hope you are all lucky enough to have seen the sun over the weekend! Yesterday was my friend's wedding so I was particularly pleased that the sun chose to shine! Am paying for it today, though, after a sleepless night due to throbbing pain in my stupid foot and an uncomfy hotel bed!! Those of you with long memories may remember my celebrations over finding some shoes months ago-they lasted until early evening before I could bear them no longer and had to swop to the black slippers which look mercifully like ballet pumps! Am just a bit fed up of paying the price physically I think-sorry for a little grumble! Of course, I wouldn't have missed the day for anything, but you know what I mean!
Regards, Josie

That's it, isn't it - while I was dancing I thought "I'm going to pay for this later" but carried on anyway! Now I've got home I can really tell as haven't got all the distractions. Hope you enjoyed your sister's visit though. I didn't complain about the bed - I think I've just been spoilt with my memory foam super-spring one! My friend was asleep in seconds as well-I hate that!! :roll:0

I'm glad you had such a nice time. We all do it! Even before I had back and hip probs, I would wear high heels with bleeding blisters on my heels! I still try heels sometimes even though I know that I will pay!! Love Sue0

I always feel that if we pay for a day we must have lived life to the full for a whole day. It is worth it in the end.

Hi
Glad you went out and about but sorry to hear that your feet were throbbing and having an uncomfortable bed must have been the last straw. I think hotels try and cover most bases whilst catering for 'normal' people, however, maybe if arthritis sufferers complained we could get them to introduce memory foam mattresses!
There's nothing quite like your own bed!
