Hi Everyone, hope you are all feeling as well as possible, the other week I had a flare which soon settled, it has started again, my left shoulder is so painful that I can't get comfortable, now my right side of my jaw has started too, so I am barely sleeping at all.

In despair this morning I rung my Rheumy nurse, there was an answerphone message saying that she is on leave, so I rung my Rheumy secretary my rheumy is off sick, with no-one to take her place, she will deal with things when she returns. What a service!! so I have rung the gp who has offered to visit this afternoon love Jaspercatxx

    Hi Jaspercat

Sorry that you're in so much pain. Thankfully you've at least got your GP visiting.

Keep in touch and let us know if you're any better.

    Take care

    HI,

hope your GP can help you - the rest sounds just like the NHS sadly.

I do hope that your GP can help you - at least you were offered a visit - that is more than a lot of people would be offered these days it seems.

    hope you improve soon.

Hi, thanks everyone for the sympathy and helpful suggestions,
the gp did come out, he wanted to put me on some Diclofenic but I don't like taking nsaids due to my stomach, so I have been given some morphine patches, I spoke to him later on the phone and he said that I am going to review clinic in december, can't do anything else love Jaspercatxx
