Celebrex and Mood Swings

Ive been taking Celebrex 200mg for just over a week now and the past few days Ive been having terrible mood swings and gettting really agitated over the daftest of things. I seem to blow hot and cold really easy.

Thankfully Im on holiday for the next 3 weeks but if this continues when I return to work I could end up losing my job when I blow my top.

Im a really placid, chilled out person so friends have really noticed the difference, does anybody else taking Celebrex 200mg have the same side effect. If so, how long did it last for?

    I am taking Celebrex 2 x 100 mg a day.

    When I started taking them I was already getting bad mood swings mainly because the pain wasn't under control and I wasnt getting enough sleep. now my medication seems to be working for me I am not a ratty.

    Could it be that you have only just started taking them and that you body is still very fatigued from the arthritis which is making you moody and not necessarily the medication???

    Hi there, thanks for your posting. Im so pleased that is isnt just me and I do think it could be that the pain isnt under control. You seem banh on!

    I take one 200mg tablet. Do you feel two 100g tablets work better in pacing you through the day. I know it sounds like a daft questions but perhaps two 100g tablets would help me better.
