Oh poor you Pauline
Well I am glad you are being treated. That's the main thing eh?
Warfarin is not the end of the world, my Mum was on it and seemed fine - it really stabilizes things i think.
Will cross my fingers that the heprin does the job for you though.
Take care

Hello, Ohhh...I remember those heprin injections; they sting like mad! Still, they should do the job for you. It must have been quite a worrying time for you. I hope you soon feel better and are back to normal.

Hi Pauline,
Like Toni said I am glad they are treating you and as Sue said I also hope your back to your normal self soon. You take care and Warfarin isn't so bad. Cris x0 -
Hi Pauline,
I had the same thing 10 years ago - my hubby did my daily tummy injections for me as I'm a wimp - I made him put a doctors white coat on first though
I also had to be on warfarin, you'll be monitored with regular blood tests at the Warfarin Clinic and they'll keep adjusting your dose depending on what your bloods say. Can't remember how long I was on it for now but I was discharged from the Clinic years ago and have been fine since.
Hope it goes well.
