    Hi Val
It's always the same isn't it!
I don't think she''l think you are making it up at all though - it's just the way it goes isn't it?!
Glad you are feeling so much better and long may it continue

Hi, I think they call it ****'s Law! But the docs are used to people with arthritis having flares. They will probably want to do some tests too, so they can see whats going on. If you've been in that much pain for a long time, their has to be something causing it.
Pain is like that though, isn't it and the day after you've been, you'll be in agony. Well, I hope not, but you know what I mean.

    Hi Val,

I was really lucky this last time mine was all swollen and cheesed off with their job! But sometimes taking pic's of the swelling and keeping a pain diary is a good idea. I am sure she won't think your making mountains out of mole hills and good luck. Its good your starting to feel a bit better as well. Cris x

I think everyone at a point feels like a complainer and that the Dr will think they are overreacting when they are genuinely in pain.

One at my surgery said to me "but if you have arthritis in your back it doesn't tend to affect your mobility"!!!! :x

I was like and what about the things that come with severe OA like the spinal stenosis, the slipped discs etc that cause the nerve problems. He was like this   .

I just said "Exactly. You're face is bright red!" Cue stammering and stuttering.

I like your style, you have a great sense of humour. We have two choices and it is much better to make light of certain things isn't it, otherwise life does become very wearing - it is difficult enough at times, aye?

Hope your appointment goes well. I'm sure the doc will realise we have good and bad days/weeks/months
