Oh Joanne,
I so hope you are feeling better this morning. I know how worrying things can seem in the early hours of the morning and everyone else is sleeping, so althoug I can't offer any advice about your symptoms I just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you and you are not alone in your worry in the small hours, as I frequently spend most of the night awake and in pain and I too am hoping they will be able to do something for it when I finally get to see the rheumy on wednesday. All too often problems seem unsurmountable at that time of the morning so I am just hoping that you will have been able to get a little sleep and things are a little better this morning. Take Care - Denise x0 -
Aw, dear Joanne
I am very sorry to hear that you are having so many symptoms at the moment and quite frightening ones at that. Although you are worried and awake in the early hours you are answering other people's posts on here. Bless you.
I wish I knew the answer - it could possibly be your drugs or even a virus. The medics always say that, when they don't know for sure. Have you noticed that? I do hope you feel a little calmer now that it is morning and you can have a word or see your gp today.
Thinking of you,
Love

Thanks everyone im still not right at all the pins and needles are constant and the head ache is there. I am not pleased that out of hours doc did not come out and look at me over the phone is no good. still im seeing my own gp today. hopefully she will check me blood pressure and put mind at ease.
If you remember i was ill last month and passed out different symtoms this was before and on monthly and i will be due on very soon so im wondering if monthlys are triggering something and llfludamide does raise the blood and you have to get bloods checked with that. im more reasured that im going to docs just hope they can do something.
I am on holiday next monday so i want it sorted so i can enjoy holiday thankyou for your replys joanneJoanne0 -
Hope the doctor is helpful Joanne and that he can reasure you as to what is causing these symptoms you're experiencing and hopefully stop them occuring. Must be very frightening for you.

Hi, I hope your gP sorts things out for you. If I had been in your position in the night I would have been tempted to call 999. The paramedics here anyway, carry the equipment to do simple ECGs. Chest pain was one thing we were taught never to ignore, when I was a carer, and always call 999. Most of the time they would run a simple ECG and find blood pressure and what not, and find no problem needing immediate treatment and go away, but sometimes you do need further treatment. Anyway, sorry to go on so much, hope all is well for you. Love Sue0

Hi Joanne,
I am sorry you are like this at the mo and the out of hours doctor should have to see you I think. Your going in tomorrow and the doctor should give you a good once over. Take it easy today and try not to worry as that will make it worse. If the pins and needles turn into pain get looked at straight away. I hope you will soon feel better. ((( ))) Cris x0 -
The gp thinks these symtoms are connected to me monthlys so hormonal and they are panic attacks she thinks i wondered if the arva or llfludamide might be causeing this as ive read it can cause anxiety she said it maybe the case as ive not had it up until now and only while on the drug. The gp has given me Norethisterone 5mg to take day 21 of my period see if it helps if not she said come back. I will see my nurse tomorrow see what she says i do think the arva is causing it i wondered if it was anxity i did not have it before. but i think i could or will have to live with it im not sure what else they can give me and it controls my artheritus so well. i always seem to get horride side effects. joanneJoanne0

Hi Joanne,
I am sorry you have a drug that works but may be giving you anxiety. I wonder if the nurse could suggest something tom help counter effect that rather than change your meds again?
I get a 'bit' of anxiety from the pregabalin and have now realized what is happening and can sit quietly take deep breaths and calm my self down though its often just in the back ground I only ever get it to spill over into the foreground over the though that a sheep is dead...... (I know thats a bit strange before someone says! ) I can't remember the official way to calm down but my way is to sit and take deep breaths, counting to 10 before exhaling. I really hope it doesn't happen to you too often. Take care Cris x0 -
I could live with it and   i am going to enrole on a course on thursday ive read about in past it is for people with anxiety depression etc i think they do anxity management confidance building it flower arranging stuff like that and they teach relax technics .
i will have chat with nurse as you say they maybe something to counter balance it but i may get another side effect like hairy palms or something if you here of a ware wolf siting in midlands it could be me best wishes joanneJoanne0 -
Hi Joanne,
That's a really good idea to go on a course cus there is a whole frame work of ways to calm your self down as well as the deep breathing. If you get a class on how to stop worrying your sheep is dead please let me know
You take care and have a better night tonight, I'm hoping to as well. Cris x0 -
I think its "called the your sheep is dead please stop worrying course"
it is aimed at all farmers and people who look after sheep and relatives of the sheep themselves . tea and bikis are provided and a sympathetic ear. joanneJoanne0 -

Hi Joanne,
Having it rough again I see? Poor you. Hope you get things sorted soon,

Am relieved that you got in to see our gp so promptly. If it is panic attacks it is a good idea to keep a brown paper bag with you. Put bag over your mouth and try to breath normally. This will definitely help.
I am not sure where you will find a brown paper bag but I have heard this is extremely beneficial when having an attack.
I wish you well and hope something can be sorted out for you.
Luv

Hi, Thats not a very pleasent problem, but hopefully, you'll find something to help you cope. The course you're going on sounds as if it could help with this problem. Not only that; your doing something positive to help yourself and that may help you cope in other ways. Good luck. Love Sue0
