I have oa not ra but, I can understand how hard it is to come to terms with such a diagnosis. I expect you'll have lots of questions to ask, have you written down anything that you want to remember to ask? It may be a good idea if you do. I hope you get on well and find the experience helps you come to terms with RA. Good luck! Love Sue0

Hello all went ok, Thanks for support :P. I must say i feel pretty good at moment, only stiff fingers early morning and late evening but have got RA as from blood test results. Also had xray on feet hands and chest so they seem pretty thorough. The Rheumy was a lovely Indian consultant and answered my flood of questions. I have been prescribed methotextrate 15mg once weekly and hydrochloroquine 1 tab per day and the folic acid. I have not read any other posts for this combo so keen to know if anyone has had this before?(keyboard sticking like my fingers!, must be catching),now got tonnes of literature to read! and a few days before i take the drugs.
Will keep you posted Karina x0 -

Pleased to hear your appt went well, Karina - that is always good to hear, because unfortunately some do not. Enjoy the bedtime reading! All the best with the meds, cannot help you there as do not take any of them.
Look after yourself

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.0
