    Hi,
It's understandable that you feel down after your appointment-I think that's quite common. It's one thing being in pain but another being told you have joint damage that can be seen: I remember being told that myself very clearly. I assume the calcium is to strengthen bones - did they offer any other treatments/referrals to physio, etc.
    Thinking of you, kind regards,
    Josie

That's good that you are seeing OT-I found them really helpful, providing splints and things. Good luck with the appointment - let us know what happens with your bloods as well. Best wishes, Josie

    Hi Madness
    I love the name!
Are you feeling down because things have deteriorated so very quickly? If so you have my total sympathy :(
It does sound to have been a postive appointment from the point of getting help though.
It is so hard to accept isn't it?
I hope you feel a bit better soon
    Toni x

    Hi

Hope that you get sorted out in the end, here is the start of a new and sometimes rocky road back to a relative stable and normal but different life. It will be better in the end, at least you know what is going on and now something is being done for you.

Let us know how OT goes

    Janie
