Hi Handsy
Rant away....I can empathise with everything you said, it does indeed get you down, and sometimes the pain is unbelievable. I have an appointment at Freeman to see Prof Isaacs soon, hopefully to start a new treatment he has developed (I think). All other treatments have failed over time and my consultant (at Sunderland)says I'm a conundrum....
Anyway, hopefully things can only gey better for you and good luck flat hunting.
Take care

Hi John
Glad to hear from you!
I am fine thank you, but sorry to hear you have been in such pain.
You do have all my sympathy
Would be really good if upping the dose to 15mg does the job eh?
And not only that but the flat hunting is proving unsuccessful too. We have a housing advice place round here which gives you loads of help in private sector. Have you anything like that your way?
Well I hope today has been a better day for you
Take care

Hi everyone.
I am definitely a conundrum :!: So many complex problems.
Going to the increase in Methotrexate to 15mg. Are you taking tablets or injection?
Sometimes you can have a stomach problem that stops the tablets getting into your system properly. That's my problem so was started on injections, which are not as bad as they seem.
Until your medication really starts to kick in, you should try either heat pads on your sore joints and ice ones on your muscles to help cool them down. Do not put cold on the joints. I swear by the TENS machines now. Look on the internet for these. LLoyds chemist do a good deal on them. Have helped me.
And try and rest
