Hi Its one of the things ANYONE should get checked by a doctor as soon as possible. Its one of those things that you just must not let go undiagnosed. Take care, Love Sue

    Hi Yorkie

You must get it checked out asap. I think deep down you knew what our replies would be.

    Hi Yorkie,

Looking at all the replies the answer has to be that we don't get bloody stools with Mtx - see your GP you need to get it sorted out.

Let us know how you go on.

Do get yourself checked out asap - don't be embarrassed ......

my hubby had a real shock one morning and we headed straight for the GP. She was able to reassure him after some simple questions and a quick exam (it isn't as gruesome as you might imagine!)

HI s problem wasn't anything serious, but we wouldn't have wanted to take the risk of ignoring it just in case it was something which needed further tests.

do let us know how you get on won't you?

Scottishlass's suggestion of Ringing NHS Direct (england) or your local equivalent is a really good one to put your mind at ease.

Hi Try not to worry too much. It must be a bit scary, but it could well be something simple and very easily cured. It is, though, very important to see your GP asap. The doc will be very used to dealing with people with this problem.
    Love Sue
