I got my letter today I go for assesment on Thursday 27th and go in on the 4th September.I will be glad to have my fingers sorted out, on one hand. It is a start anyway. I know it is nothing like some of you have been going through with your THR's and knees.


Just as I got this good news I got some more news I've been to the Rheumy clinic today and got the results from tests I have been having. I have got RA in my shoulders and lower spine as well.

I had another steroid injection. In the meanwhile she said to up the Sulfa to 6 a day. Does that seem a lot?

    Good news Trish, it's good to get sorted :D:D

    I don't know if that's a high dose ..... but I'm sure others do and will come along to let you know.

    I am on 5 and so it probably isn't too high a dose and I hope that it will all soon help to bring it under control for you. Hey good luck with the opp as well :D . Take care Cris

    I am glad you have the date. Will come round really soon so you'd better get reay :!: :wink: I am having a steroid jab in my hip bursa thingy the same day so I will think of you.
    No-one here would think you any less important than themselves whatever op you are having! I wouldn't fancy any one of them :!: :!:
    As soon as you are able you must let us know how you are doing.
