I woke up this morning with this gnawing pain in my legs (stumps) and going up into my groin. I#ve never had it before.

I've taken some parectamol but it has not helped. It seems to be in the bones. I've tried massage, a warm bath, heat but not helping.

Could it be the Sulfa doing it?

Hi Trisher what arthritis do you have?, I have OA and I do get what you/I would call gnawing bone pain sometimes especially late at night never had any groin pain but have had pain going up my femurs before, also I have plenty of other odd secondary nerve signals in my lower legs, is parecetamol all you have for pain control?, I would go and see your GP and get some stronger pain meds.
I’m sorry I can’t really help you with the sulfa but others on here will be able to shed more light on things much more than I can, I’m only a novice as OA goes only got diagnosed 18 months ago, hope you get things sorted, take care now. Mellman.

Sorry to hear you are getting this new pain. Perhaps something like Gabapentin or Amitryptline might help. I'd phone your GP and explain and ask for something to help and ask for a telephone appointment if you can't get a visit. Good luck.
