oh i know what you mean, but as usual i can never remember any funny ones! unless my husband counts? i use him to open bottles and stuff when he's around!
actually i once used the hinge part of the door to try and open a fizzy drink bottle, it didn't work but it did damage the door frame, oop's!0 -
hi,i brought an electric tin opener a few months back as i cant open tins.
everyone in our house is amazed by it.there fightened to use it cause its mine.
i was in the kitchen on saturday(day after holiday)opening a can of beans & as i turned around i had an audience,OH,his mate & stepson all looking at my amazing tin opener.i then had to demonistrate the use of 1 finger to operate it.
sad theyve never seen electric tin opener,i did have 1 for yrs before arthur but throw it away.now looking for my next gadget.think it'll be the electric jar opener.
oh for an easy life.

I am sure there have been many .... but the only one that comes to mind is the time, in my early days with arthur, when in a cafe I used the table to lever myself up and found that not only myself but the entire contents of the table ended up tipped up onto the floor
These days I check tables before I expect them to take my weight .... and use hubby as a crane instead!0 -
Have OA in my spine and often use my dogs to help pull me uphill if I need a hand when I walk them.0

Hi folks
When attempting to clean outside downstairs windows and doors (which isn't very often) I use a sweeping brush and bucket of hot soapy water, then I rinse them with the hosepipe. If I'm still feeling ok I then wrap a tea towel round the brush when the windows are nearly dry and buff them.
Children and oh also come in very handy too!!!
Take care

I've wrapped bandages and masking tape round cutlery and tooth brushes to make them fat enough for me to hold. I've insisted on standing through meetings and coffee because sitting was too painful. I've used socks to attach ice packs to my wrists (wear like gloves and slide ice pack in - works wonders!). I've used pens to flush toilets which have those stupid plunger flushes in the cistern or in the wall (they are a pet hate).0
