Hi

does anyone else who takes MXT find that their memory is going?? or has mine just decided to get up and go to someone with a better body??

sometimes I do find it very scary as I am looking as things but just cant find the words!! e.g. a hose pipe!! wanted to say what it was but the words were not there!! and sometimes in the middle of a conversation, words just do not come!!!

now - who am I ????

    hi Louise,

My memory has left the building, I don't know if mine is tablets or age but like you say you go for a word and something ridiculous comes out. I started having it about 10 years ago and its something that I find comes and goes with me. I hope as you adjust to the tablets and the shock of things it gets better for you. Take care, Cris x

    Hi

Same happens to me and I am not on meth. I am nearer 60 years than not so put mine down to age. I often cannot find the word and either someone helps me out when I describe what I mean or I do eventually think of the word. I also go ie upstairs and cannot for the life of me remember what I was going to do. When I go back downstairs I remember. Killing on the dodgy knees  At the moment it does not worry me unduly.

    Luv

The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

Yes, I do find it scary. I know I'm 65 now and perhaps things like memory loss can start, but like someone just said, it's left the building. Especially when you want to say something like, oh gosh, forgotten............. :? what................I was going to ...say

I find that it's worse when I have had a bad night(most nights).
I am not on the same drugs,I worry too cos my mam had alzheimers.
Don't know what I did before those yellow stickit things came out.

Lol, I'm 21 and have been losing words for years! I lose all sorts of things: words, things, events, conversations. Some of my best conversations involve things like:

"Have you seen where I put my... *makes random hand motions in mid-air* the things you use and in comes out?" ie: pen.

"I was walking long the... long green stuff that grows on the ground... when I fell over." ie: grass.

My friends think it's hilarious. I've just got used to it.

Hi, I have the same problems the only thing is I'm not on the same drugs! But I am on strong pain killers, so I suppose they may slow me down a bit. It can feel worrying though, especially after going upstairs and then not being able to remember what I came up for. Love Sue
