I am so glad you got to see the concert. Sometimes its worth "pushing it" a bit.
I went to a friends wedding a few weeks ago and danced (well hobbled but to me it was dancing!LOL) a bit. It was helped by the bucket load of pain killers beforehand and hurt like hell for days afterwards but for those few minutes I really "let go" and enjoyed myself.
We went to see Oasis at The Ricoh in Coventry in June and luckily were seated but it was a nightmare getting to and from our seats and I had the bruises to prove it! But like you so glad I made the effort-specially now with them splitting up!
I wonder how much my ticket stub would sell for on Ebay??!!

haha...yeah I like a good boogey woogie myself, though it was more of an unsteady wobble on Saturday, but you have to do these things otherwise it's too easy to feel miserable about everything (of which I am an excellent student ;) ). Jealous you went to see Oasis, as a long suffering fan I've never got round to seeing them for one reason or another...hang on to that stub!!!

You did extremely well, all that walking.
    And standing.

I did quite a bit of standing last weekend at my art exhibition and it was excrutiating.
I can't even walk 50 years. And still they won't pay me DLA.
I'm glad you enjoyed it though. It surprising what you can do when you really want to do something. I certainly couldn't do it now.

I bet you can't wait for the next one now.

    Joyful

Wow, I can only imagine how difficult it must have been for you. I've been feeling pretty sorry for myself but I have to say some of people's story's here put things into perspective for me, I really am quite fortunate.

What sort of art do you do?

Glad you went and had a fantastic time. It does us good to get out, even though we can pay for it afterwards it is nice to do 'normal' things!

Teran - it was AWESOME :D

Today I feel like I've been hit by a truck but worth the pain, what a fantastic day. White Lies were on first, followed by Girls Aloud and Jay-Z who was brilliant. Chris and his boys gave an awesome performance. I had such a great time. I had a few drinks as we got the train so that helped keep the pain demons at bay but My God am I paying the price today but it was worth every second.

I'm still bouncing off the walls here :D
