Embarrassing query?

Can I ask if it was dark getting into a car, and you sat down with your not as thin as it used to be bottom, would you notice if you were sitting on a huge bunch of keys?
Or if you had lost your keys and couldn't find them, would you be able to drive with them in your back jeans pocket and not feel it?
Just wondered what the response would be?

I bet I could! Sort of thing I'd do - I once put my car kets in the fridge when I got home! (I like to think I was in desperate need of a brew and had gone in there in search of the milk, but can't guarantee that!!!) Hmm! :roll:0

Hi
Sounds like you've had "one of those days"!!! I lost all the house keys; car keys and found them the following year at the bottom of the freezer. I once stood outside my front door pressing the car key fob waiting for it to open! I felt a real idiot when I realised what I was doing. It happened the day I decided I couldn't work full time anymore.
I don't have many 'dizzy blond' days but when I have one I feel very silly.

Glad to know I am normal!! Well almost!
My hubby thought I should get it checked as he thought I had lost the feeling in that area, and that it might be connected to my back.
Thanks for that.

Don't you worry, I've lost two bank cards, a Visa, three sets of house keys, a set of car keys and also left my money in the coffee machine about 100 times when only buying a 20p cup and putting in a pound.
All only after being on Gabapentin. I feel like I've gone half daft, well the fully daft, I was half daft anyway0 -
I have broken so many phones from putting them in my back pocket, sitting down and not noticing them!0

Hadn't thought of that, mention it if it will put his mind at rest. That area isn't really lacking padding on me, if you know what I mean - makes for a comfier seat, I say!0

Thanks for your replies, seems I am not the only brain fog sufferer!!!
I am not exactly without comfort in that area either, which is what I put it down to, but it was a HUGE bunch of keys, as big as your hand!
Oh Well!

Umm yes, I could. When anything gets lost, my husband tells me to get up, as I'm often sitting on it. You'd be surprised, knitting needles, keys, purses, wallets you name it, I've sat on it!!!

I know just how you feel! I've lost a huge amount of weight this year, and they don't know why, and have virtually nil natural padding. I feel as if I'm sitting on a bunch of keys all the time anyway
I wish I could put on weight, and I DO eat...but it just doesn't happen.
Tried all kinds of cushions etc, and nothing helps, even a special one with a hole cut out for the coccyx.
Truly a drag.

I forgot as well, after the fall through the coffee table and they put me on Gabapentin, I lost my mobile, really expensive one too. It remained lost for about 6 weeks, could not find it anywhere, then one day we found it under the sofa, even though we'd looked loads of times there.
I had about 70 texts when I turned it on, mostly from people wondering how I was and getting more anxious and sending more texts when I wasn't replying. :oops:0
