I have tried body balance at my local gym this is a form of tie chi , pilates.and yoga very relaxing and i found could do it with few problems felt good afterwards. :)
The only movement i found akward was a sit up with the legs out sretched in front up un air.
On monday and today i have had pain across the stomach it hurts to move forward so ive pulled something. i had planed to go to pilates on monday and did not go as i had this pain and all energy sapped out of me  Today i feel so achy all over and the stomach is still pain full. The pain killer cocodamol did not touch it sent me drousy all afternoon. i manage to take son to whacky yesturday but today i could not manage much and we have watched tv. I am trying to get more excercise in as son will be at school all day from end sept. Will my body get used to it. Im more used to swimming you see done that all my life not done to much other types of excercise and the pilates ect stated it in summer when i am a lot better on the whole but far from perfect. joanne

    Hi Joanne

Just popped in from taking my back and leg pain out on mowing the lawn. It is really hot here this afternoon so I have just eaten two homemade orange lollies. Yum!

I expect you you have pulled a stomach muscle or three. If you are not used to doing that certain exercise, these things do happen. You may have found muscles you did not know you had, if you know what I mean. I hope the pain and tiredness starts to lessen soon, I would hate you to be put off going to a class which you can do and enjoy.

Hopefully you will feel up to attending next monday and perhaps you could mention it to your instructor.

Back out to finish the lawn now. :)

    Luv

The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

Hi, Does your instructor know about the arthritis problems. I know when I did yoga, a long time ago, the instructor adapted the exercises for people who had joint problems. Just a thought....
