hello all,
i was at physio yesterday and did not get any rest last night. She is called Phillipa and she is a gem, gave me some knee exercises to do and as we practiced them at the hospital i was fine then when i got home,BANG! the pain hit i could just walk, up all night and we all know how u feel after that. I have to say she understands that its hard to help sufferers of RA but explains that any help is good and i agree. I have also been give a date for my appeal for ESA which has from the start been a complete hash. i scored (o) points on the assesment, which me and my GP found amazing. i'll keep you all informed.
P.S i heard a rumour that the staff at these medicals are give a bonus of £80-£90 for each person that they remove from ESA/IB how true this is i dont know.

Hi, Can you phone the physio, she may be able to tell you if theirs a problem. I know mine gave me the hospital department number to ring if I had any worries.
As for your ESA appeal, are you getting any advice? The CAB will help and so do DIAL, and they also can provide people to go with you, I think. Remember that the questions ask if it gives you pain, not if it is possible to do something. I CAN, in an emergency reach up, but if I do that often I soon feel a lot of pain and have pain and fatigue the next day. This is what they want to know. As for walking, I bet if you walked the distance they ask, day after day, you'd soon be feeling ill! Don't be brave - you do have pain so let them know. I read if you feel uncomfortabel sitting in the chair, don't be polite and put up with it, tell the doc doing the assesment that you'r in pain. It all counts to give them a picture of your condition. Love Sue0
