Hi Holmsi
Agree, its an up and down process isnt it.
Some days are not as bad and then
just as you might get complacement back it
comes with a vengeance, as if you needed
a reminder.
Hope you are feeling a bit better as the day
goes on.

Totally agree with you on that, I to like you, felt great yesterday but awoke with the dreaded pain. I think that is the worst part of RA you cant plan ahead as each day is so different. Today it is the knuckles and who would think little joints like these could cause so much pain and discomfort. But like you hoping tomorrow will be better.
Hope you feeling better.

Hi Holmesi
It is OA that you have been diagnosed with isn't it? Perhaps you should not keep lowering your meds after one good day - this could be a bit of a shock to your system, only guessing. The meds mask some of the pain and so it does seem the right thing to do if you feel good to reduce or not take them but I wonder if that is a good idea in your case. Are you reducing the inflammatories as well, if you are on them, which I think you should be You do seem to be having a mighty lot of flares.
I do hope you feel a little better soon.
Luv

Hi
I have done exactly the same thing as you after having a good day. I have reduced or even stopped my medication, only to be in pain the next day. It brings it home to me that I do need the drugs, although I would rather not have to take them.
