Painful left hand

Hello, I'm feeling a bit fed up today, one of those days, I suppose.
The thumb on my left hand is very sore and the joint underneath too is swollen and wants to bend inwards. The bit on the side of my hand under the thumb is forming a soft, painful lump. I can bend my thumb, but its like pulling something thats too short and is very stiff. I've also got and ache in my little finger and a bad neck. I really hate this horrible thing today, I havn't done anything I should't and they seem such little things to make a fuss about. Thank goodness I have a GPs appointmen on Monday.

Hello Debs,
Thanks for replying, it certainly sounds like yours, I have got splints but I don't like wearing too much when its hot, but they do help rest my hands. Had them when I had Carpel tunnel. I don't know, it seems to be one thing and then another lately, wonder were it will pop up next!
Good luck with your appointment, I hope all goes well for you.
