Hello, I'm feeling a bit fed up today, one of those days, I suppose.
The thumb on my left hand is very sore and the joint underneath too is swollen and wants to bend inwards. The bit on the side of my hand under the thumb is forming a soft, painful lump. I can bend my thumb, but its like pulling something thats too short and is very stiff. I've also got and ache in my little finger and a bad neck. I really hate this horrible thing today, I havn't done anything I should't and they seem such little things to make a fuss about. Thank goodness I have a GPs appointmen on Monday. e
Love Sue

hi sue, thats the same as my right hand, the soft bit under the thumb base has formed a soft lump & the bone is deforming there also.mine feels like the tendon is pulling which i think is causing the electric shocks down into my elbows.
ive got my appointment through for next week for my splints so hoping they help.
walk in appointment, mon, tues, weds. so im gonna try to go mon,as i need these supports. good luck with the gps appointment & let us know how you get on.

    Hello Debs,
Thanks for replying, it certainly sounds like yours, I have got splints but I don't like wearing too much when its hot, but they do help rest my hands. Had them when I had Carpel tunnel. I don't know, it seems to be one thing and then another lately, wonder were it will pop up next!

Good luck with your appointment, I hope all goes well for you. :)
