I went into hospital last week as planned for op on Sat. During the night I had some pain in my back. My temperature was a bit high. I had a kidney infection.

They would not do my op, so I spent the week having antibiotics and on a drip.

They let me come home today and I go back tomorrow afternoon and op booked for Monday.

I was a bit gutted as this week would be one week less of recovery time. There is not much you can do though so never mind.

love trisher xx

    Hi Trisher
I was wondering where you had got to too!
Well better that they spotted the problem than you had suffered complications.
    Back in on monday?
Well this time I wish you all the luck and hope that everything will go like clockworka nd you will soon be pposting your recovery story :)
    Take care

    Hi Trisher,

Nothing here..... Or at least if it is I should be pleased  my wrists are really swollen and the ankles aren't far behind. Hey maybe next week it will work and the week after for me cus I am a week behind you. I'm just so worn out as well. Hey funnily enough my mouth is not as sore either. maybe we will adjust eh? You go careful and I shall be thinking of you. ((( ))) luv Cris x

    Dear Trisher,

It must have been a great disappointment for you not to have had the op but at least you are well enough now and it will soon all be over and you willbe back home again. I wish you all the very best for Monday. Please let us know how you got on as soon as you feel able.

    Love
    Elna x
The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

    Hi Elna

Thank you. I was disapointed but there's not a lot you can do. At least I was in the right place to be sick. They looked after me very well though.

I will post as soon as I come home.

    Love trisher x

Sorry to hear what's been happening but at least it was picked up right away. If that had happened when you're at home it could have taken ages to get it sorted. At least you're better now. It's great they let you out for the weekend and did'nt just send you home and rearrange the op for months down the line. Very best of luck for your op and recovery.

Good luck for your op, at least you know that you are i'tip top' condition for it.

It's good that they rebooked you so soon as well, that's what I call good service from the NHS.

Hi, Good Luck. Its good that you don't have to wait for the operation, but disapointing to have to wait. Just one of those things that happen, I suppose. Love Sue
