Leg Pain

Hi Everyone,

Hope you have all had a nice weekend. This morning i have woken up with lots of swelling in my right hand/fingers/knuckles/wrist ect very painful!!! Then i have got swollen right knee and swollen right foot (i have damaged feet) then in between (the shin area) is a little swollen and my a couple of vains are raised .. has anyone else had this? Im a little worried simply because i have heart condition too, i can fel the pain in my foot/ankle i couldnt sleep because of it :(

    Hello, Oh dear, not your day today. :( I'm so sorry you'r in pain, have you tried putting something cold from the freezer on to it for a while, or else a heated pad. Be careful not to burn yourself, but you should find that eases the pain a bit. If it dosn't get better soon, I'd go to see the doctor. Take care, love Sue

    Ouch!! That sounds a bit painful :(
    Yes resting elevating and cold are the best idea as Sue said - I agree, but in light of the heart issue I would tend to just ring up someone for a bit of advice - NHS direct or the GPs surgery.
    You can't take risks can you.
