    Hi Joan

Wow not long at all, better than it moved to a later date. Really hope the pain clinic sorts something out for you, I've been quite a few times and always found the Dr. very helpful, he's referred me to a lot of other consultants too. He/she will ask you lots of questions to start with and then have a chat, then decide if he/she can help. That's how it happened with me anyway :)

    Good luck
    Love

    Hi Joan
I`m pleased that your appointment is soon and you can look forward to some relief from the pain. I have been to a pain clinic, but it was a long time ago. The first appointment is the longest one, to allow a full assessment and history etc..
    Hope it goes well

Hi, Thats good, for once,a cancelled appointment brings it nearer and not further away! :) I wasn't told how long my appointment was for, but I know by the time I'd been over all problems I had, answered the questions, had a full physical exam and discussed the changes to my medication, it must have been a fair while.

Good luck and I hope you find it useful. I think all these clinics have different ways of treating people. So heres hoping you find a few ways to be more comfortable. Love Sue

    Dear Joan :D

Wow, that is good news! :D Is that because you keep phoning up to see if there are cancellations? If so, it does pay to do so, doesn't it? It shows you mean business!!

If you have an appointment for 1.5 hours that is brilliant. :D A lot of ground can be covered in that time.

I am so pleased for you. :D You are in a lot of pain and discomfort, so this appointment is well deserved.

Write down anything you may forget to ask or mention, wishing you well and hope you give us feed back on your return.

    Love
Elna x (()) That is a hug for Sue as well. One each!!
