Hi all, well yesterday I was like a dog with two d*#$s due to me CB stuff coming then I went to work today and had a 3 monthly chat with the king of evil aka Doctor death of OC health and after all that I’ve been through with my bloody OA he suddenly say’s if I carry on going sick as I have been I will be in trouble with the evil queen of HR, then he drops the biggy and say’s he can’t understand why I’m getting so much pain from just OA of both knee caps, ye goods I’m bloody sorry I’m in so much F’in pain.
God only knows where this is going, on one hand he’s classed me as disabled but on the other he’s telling me I’m either making things up or, well I’m not sure anymore, Christ I don’t know what he’s driving at, I give up even me Prozac isn’t helping today, I’m sorry for moaning but I have had enough of it, I just feel so tired and totally p***** off and really worn out. I’m going to get really p***** latter then kick the cat about the garden even if the pain kills me!, Oh sorry it can’t as I’m not in any apparently, and I just remembered we don’t have a cat!.

    Hi Mellman
So long as you can prove you are really off sick and that you can...he hasn't got a leg to stand on (pardon the pun!!) serioulsy though are you sure he isn't trying to get you to leave???is it constructive dismissal???
How many days have you had off sick? What's the average?
I know....get your CB stuff out and have a play around with that - that should cheer you up!
    :)

hi, It you've finished with Jan now..... I just want to say that I'm sorry for you having that poo thrown at you! I think it would be a good thing for you to go and see your GP when ever you need to take time off and take as much time as you need. If you'v visited the doc, he'll have a record of it and than if you need to, you can give them permission to write to your GP for information. You never know the gP may come up with something to help your knees! I hope all goes well for you. Take Care, Love Sue

Sorry to hear you're having such a rough time with OH Dr. I too think it's a good idea to see your GP. Nobody can tell you how much pain you should or should'nt have. That OH Dr sounds like he's up to something all right but at the very least, he's not giving you or your disease the respect you deserve. I'd take no nonsense from him. If your GP signs you off there is'nt a thing they can do about it. Very best of luck.

Hi Sue and ritwren, yeah it’s really odd I asked him if it would be a good idea if I put in for a blue badge, his reply was yes he thinks I will get one, he also reaffirmed that in his eyes I could be considered disabled so I’m covered by the DDA then the next minute asks why am I in so much pain when it’s only my patella’s that are shot!, I’m still trying to work that one out, One last thing you don’t think I have pi**ed Jan off do you?, I didn’t mean too the problem is I have a sharpish wit and tongue and don’t know when to shut my gob!.

Some people cant equate arthritis with pain unfortunately. If only everyone had to endure it for a week of their lives then theyd understand. They think it is just a slight twinge I think.A bit like a cold or a headache.
    Take care Tkachev

Yep i agree you have to have arthur to understand it,it may be mild to specialists but its not too clever if you can't get out of bed with it.
Its because people can't see it they question it,makes you mad :x

Hi bertyboy yeah GP seems ok changed to him about 6 months ago, what impressed me was he’s really knows how things are with this illness and he’s help me so much, funny thing though I changed from him around 20 years ago as I didn’t get on with him, he and I have both changed I guess, years ago he had a bad reputation but today it’s the opposite thank god.

Hi pixyandfaries thank Christ for that I had a paranoid moment there, but hey that’s what I do best!.
