I have been experiancing my fingers being dead ive been awaiting to go to a carpal tunnel clinic and had heard nothing.
The last few nights ive had bad nights with my fingers they were totaly dead and took ages to get the blood circuling into them. last night my fingers swelled so much i had to take off my new wedding and engagement ring which i replaced because my olds were too small.
well my finger felt like it would explode the presure was terrible i took off the ring and eventually the blood flowed into it.
I also had a pressure headache and felt unwell. I saw my Gp who says fluid is building in my wrists due to the carpel problem and llafludamide and another drug im takeing are contributing to the fluid build up.
I have got some water retention tablets. :)
I said to gp i had been waiting for appiotment with the clinic to test to see if i had carpol tunnel for two moths he said "oh you could be waiting 3-6mths for that". :x I got my prescription and went home.
I have just had a call from the hospital to ask me if i wanted an appintment which had come up on 26th of september at the carpel tunnel clinic i said yes please i couldnt believe it my feeling a liitle happier now. :D:D:D:D from joanne

    Hi Joanne

That is good news about your appointment, not too long to wait but I bet if feels like an age hope it goes well for you. Did your Dr. think the headache was due to the water retention? I have the same problem with rings and have now got 5 wedding rings and 2 engagement rings still non of then fit, maybe I will put my real ones on a chain around my neck, I don't like to be without.

Good luck with your appointment, let us know how it goes.

    Love

Thats great news Joanne, nice to hear some good news!!

I can't wear my rings anymore due to swelling, arthur is the worst in my ring finger, I miss wearing them. I hope your swelling goes down so you can wear them.
