Hi, Since the weekend I've had a lot of pain in stuff in my left shoulder, so we've got a good pair of arms between us! My problems is coming from my neck. I go to the physio on 5th Oct. seems a long time to wait.

Hi
I have OA in right shoulder so know what you mean! I've learnt to use my left hand to polish, wipe down surfaces, drink with and I sometimes have to use my left hand when out and about with my walking stick. I find after a day of using my stick with my right hand - I ache. I've lost strength in hands so I rely on aids to help with things like this; electric can opener; ring pull aids (you can buy lots of stuff from charity shops).
Do you use a walking stick? I rely on mine in and outside the home. The OT are fitting a handrail to the stairs ..I can't wait as it will save me jarring my hand coming down the staircase.

I went to the physio before xmas, and she got hold of my shoulder and back and tried to push them back into place, the pain was really awful, she couldn't do it so sent me back to the doc and my shoulder and arm were painful for some time! Still I've had lots of help from other physios in the past, guess I was unlucky!
I know what you mean about the soulder pain, every now and then mine shoots down my arm! :? Love Sue0 -
