I’ve been using soma for 5 or 6years now for fibromyalgia. Tight neck muscles and so on. So far it hasn’t affected the way I work. No drowsiness, no feeling of tiredness. My question is, does soma have any long-term negative effects on the body? Thanks.

Hi, Sorry I can't help - I've never heard of this! But just wanted to say hi and I'm sure someone will be along soon to answer your question.

Hi, I've never heard of it, sorry, but I looked it up on Google and it says their that it can be addictive and also make you sleepy, but if you've taken it for some time with no ill effects, you may not be affected like that.

I think the best you could do is to go and discuss this with your GP or whoever rhemmy, who prescribed it for you. That way you can find out any long term effects and so forth. Love Sue
