Hi, I had a little accident last night, I have never done it before, I turned over in bed and fell off (no laughing now), I hit my head and couldn't get up, with the help of Malcolm and my walking stick I got up slowly. Malcolm rung the off duty gp, who came out, by this time I had a severe headache, was dizzy and blurred vision, so the gp called an ambulance, I spent the night in casualty.

I have just got back and have a headache, I will probably go to bed later, if I don't fall off!! love Jaspercatxx

    Hello,
Oh dear, what an awful thing to do, but at least your home now. It must have been an awful shock, for both you and your husband! :( Still, I'm glad you did the right thing and went to the hospital, as it can be quite serious to have concussion. I expect you still feel a bit poorly so take it easy and rest, (carefully). :) I hope you feel better soon. Take care, Love Sue

Aw, you poor love. I hope you were not having a nightmare because it surely was when you awoke and found yourself on the floor and having to go to A&E. I do hope you are feeling much better by now and Malcolm is alright too.

    Love and very gentle hugs,
    Elna x

Would you like to borrow my fluffy pink handcuffs so Malcolm can fasten you to the bedpost and then you'll both sleep soundly knowing you're safe? :? ....okay maybe not :D

Hope your headache goes very soon - time for some TLC I think.

    Hi
Sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you are feeling better after your tumble out of bed and that nasty headache has gone.

The OT suggested I have one of these bed things which go under the mattress and it allows you to hold onto something getting in and out of the bed. It also means you don't roll out! See if you can get one - they're marvelous. You can ring your OT direct.

Take care. Sitting in casualty must have been a nightmare!

    Regards

He's never had one fall for him in this way before.
seriously though, hope you are not seeing stars anymore.
I fell out of bed some time ago, trouble is luv, we don't land lightly anymore and things get broken easier. You were lucky you didn't break a leg or hip or something.

    hugs

Hi Everyone, feeling very sore all over now, I am seeing the funny side of it, gave Malcolm a hell of a panic, I thought that I had stopped doing this things.

I am being throughly pampered, had a really weird dream this afternoon when I went for a sleep, all about an elephant! there must be a sub-lingual message.

Thanks for all the good wishes love Jaspercatxx

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better but I bet you'll ache even more for the next few days. What a thing to happen. I'm sure it was'nt pleasant spending the night in casualty, no wonder you're tired. Hope things improve for you and you get a good night sleep tonight

I fell out of bed last year and ended up with my head wedged between the mattress and the bed side table with one leg still on the bed!

I couldn't help but look sideways for the next week after that!!:lol:

    Hi Jaspercat

I'm sorry to hear about your fall. That must have been very scary, and painful too. I hope you have recovered now and are feeling better.

A big purr from Tommy Tucker. He's just come home from the cattery, so he's not speaking to me for putting him in prison for a week :!:

    Oh Jaspercat

I hope you are okay now, has your headache gone yet?

Put some cushions down until you get something else more permanent

I really hope you are okay now. You'll have to hold onto Malcome more tightly.

    love trisher xx
