Hi

Just did not know where I should put this, so sorry if it is in wrong place or if wrong for me to do it.

I'm all over the place at moment but I'm trying.I know quite a few of you know qhat happend last week and about my hubby being critically ill at moment.

I phoned my Doctor yesterday and she came down to have a talk with me as i'm basically on my own ( my son is still here ) and cannot manage properly. She has helped me so much.

I'm now in a Hospice. I have my own room and bathroom ect. telly cand have been able to take mu computer with me.

The food looks nice , mot that I've eaten yet.. The nurses are excellant, the docotrs are lovely,

The best news is they have their own minivan so I will ne able to visit my hubby as much as I want too. (bearing in mind that others might have booked to go to places,) but as i have been staying by hubby side till late, they think it won't be too much of a problem.

I just hope that you will not mind if i lean on you a bit. I'll try not to be a nuisance to you but I'm sorry if I already have last week.

    Hi Trisher
How brave are you?! How very very sensible and pratical.
So pleased you are going to be able to put your feet up and be looked after and the stress of visiting is over for you :)
Now that doesn't mean you get out of popping into the cafe and doing your baking tonight - ok?
    Good decision
    Love

    Hi Cris.

Oh it is Chris I can now have a bath every day and they even have a washing service for my clothes so I do'nt have to worry about clean knickers etc.

Plus dressings that need doing for an op I had a while ago. It is a wound that does not heal and has to be dressed.

I feel a big weight has been lifted. I have still got the names of places to try from Lynn's thread last week. Incase some e;se on here ever has a problem like me.

They said they are going to give me an injecton tonight to help me get some sleep.

I love the name of your asheep.t My goodness you've got a lot to look after!!

    You take care

So relieved and pleased to hear that things have been really wonderfully organised Trisher and that you have a few things that you can sort of put to one side, if you know what I mean and be there for your husband and get well yourself after your operation. It is so good that you are able to be in contact with us all here, your big family. I believe we are all saying "phew" for you. It must also be a great relief to your son too.

Keep calling in, so we know how things are going for you and your dear husband.

    Lots of love
    Elna x

    Hi Toni, Hi Legs

Ohh I'm not brave, I've been scared stiff. last night the only good thing I thought abougth was baking until I saw that spider in the cafe.

My doctor, she keeps saying that. I must admit I have a really good GP

I can't put my legs up but what is left of them I'll try. \i might look a bit weired.

Going to have a snooze on the sofa and read a book to night.

    Hi Trisher

It sounds like you have found a whole new adventure. At least you have had good training from everyone here. It sounds good that you can get your hair done, that will cheer you up and like the others have said, your husband will see you destressed and feel better about that. You have gone through such a lot and helped others, it's your turn now.

    Have a good nights sleep.
