Yep Joan I am it 25mg at night - knock on effect is _ you sleep better too. Then your muscles can relax amitriptyline
Hope it helps

Dear Joan
I have not heard of that but at least the doc listened and took it all on board. Hopefully what he has said is causing the problem and the meds work for you. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. In 6 weeks if there is no difference you can take it up again with the doc, can't you?
Let's hope it solves the problem for you - you have been suffering with this a long time, haven't you?
Love

Hi Joan
When I was at the pain clinic a few years ago. Not for th RA and OA I've got now but it was to relax muscles. I had complimentary treatment.
The lady came to my home and mixed Almond oil with Lavender. I cannot remember what the dose was but I'm sure a herbalist could tell you.
You gently nassage it in then put a towel on the area.It felt warm and the feeling went deep into the muscle, not just on the surface.
It might take more than one go to get it to work
It might help. I'm also on the amytriptlene.
