memory - lack of it!

Hi all, was on here about 2 hours ago, then logged out. Went to cpme back on and cant remember my password!!! Had to get it e mailed, but they gave me a stupid combo of letters and numbers, hos the hell am i going to remmeber that if i cant remember my usual one!!! Am I losing it completely (my mind)??? Help!!! Jay

    Oh dear poor you. I had trouble registering initially and had to have loads of help. I think you can change the new password they have e-mailed you to something more memorable but I'm not clever enough for that. Am sure someone will let you know how.

    hi jay,my memory is going slowly too.
    i keep a pad & pen next to the computor & a little book too for the different passwords i use.
    mine is so bad i can read a post then just forget what it was about as i go to put in a reply,so now i write notes on what i wanted to say,im only 42 :oops:
    the meds & pain have a lot to answer to :wink:

    Hi Chris, thanks, hope so!!! otherwise will have to keep checkig up on my mobile to get it!!! Feel like a complete idiot, it just wont come into my head!!!

    Go to Profile at the top of the page and part way down your profile page it says Password and Confirm Password. Complete these carefully and click OK at the bottom of the page. That should reset your password for you to a more memorable one.

    If you google Keepass then it will give you a website for a free, easy to use, password program. That way you only have to remember one password and it securely remembers all the rest for you on your computer.

    Hi Joseph, Thank you so much!! have managed to change password by going into profile, but the web site sounds brilliant!!! Wot a donut am i9??!! :oops:
